As a REALTOR® we are getting hit left and right “to buy this” or “sign up for that”, and while I have been guilty of silly impulse subscriptions, I wanted to share with you today my top 3 investments I made into my business without blinking, that I have zero regrets about.
My top investment I make every year into my real estate business as a REALTOR® is the purchase of a brand new iPhone. And ironically, this year with real estate slower than the last two years, I almost didn’t purchase it, although I have done so every year for longer than I can remember. But once I had it in hand, I know it would have been a mistake to not get the iPhone 15 Pro. I like, unlike most others, do all of my YouTube (etc) video editing directly on the iPhone, and just the increased processing power (aka speed), is worth the investment this year, but like always, the improved camera capabilities are impressive.
I use my iPhone for just about every part of my business, including all of my content creation, so that is why it is so important to me. I can contribute millions of dollars in revenue directly from my iPhone. I have spent thousands of dollars on too many cameras, yet, the iPhone is always with me, allowing me to never have an excuse on why I cannot capture content at any given moment. I like to think of myself as a content creation machine, and another YouTuber even called me a content queen some months back.
I have a crazy busy life. It would be almost impossible for me to squeeze more time into my life to work without my kids hating me or my husband leaving me. I feel like I am always playing this balancing act in the midst of a live circus performance with millions of people watching me. So I don’t need any resistance (which leads to excuses) in my life. I talk about this a lot, but I need easy, aka, an easy button. My iPhone is my easy button to content creation.
Besides content creation I can do just about anything on my iPhone. I am not one to write contracts upon it. If I wanted to, I could fill out a form, and send it to an assistant to write a contract, but no need to get into that. I have a lot of apps installed on my phone to make my life easier. It really is my favorite investment in my real estate business as a REALTOR®.
The second investment I want to feature, is the investment into a virtual assistant. I do not want to even think about how “behind” I would be if I hadn’t invested in a virtual assistant. I now have to virtual assistants as a part of my team. I talk a lot about my virtual assistants on the podcast and YouTube channel. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can find the links below. I cannot imagine my life without one.
The third investment I want to feature in this blog post is my full-time accountant. The do everything for my business as it relates to taxes. I am huge into saving time, so if it can save me time, and money, I am game!
