If I were a real estate agent starting over tomorrow this is what I would do…
1️⃣ Establish my branding.
Free version: Design a logo myself on Canva.
Small budget: Hire someone on Etsy to make me a logo.
2️⃣ Build out a website with blogging capabilities.
DIY version: Host a WordPress website on Bluehost. You can purchase a template from Theme Forest or Creative Market and edit it yourself.
Small budget: I recommend Click Funnels for a robust option or ShowIt for a fancier option.
* You need to decide who you are creating blog posts for. I love talking about neighborhoods, builder incentives, tax rates, and schools.
3️⃣ Create a YouTube channel.
You will need to decide who you ideal client is, what your content buckets will be, and how often you will film and post.
* I recommend posting consistently as many long form and short form videos as possible.
* The faster you can generate valuable content, the faster you will be able to generate leads.
* If you have new construction in your area, document the neighborhoods. Even if you don’t, document your favorite neighborhoods. As a new realtor, the neighborhoods with “starter homes” are the easiest to sell as a newbie.
4️⃣ Set up a distribution and syndication strategy.
* I love to keep all of my social media and listing media accounts updated daily.
* I use Loomly to syndicate my content.
* My favorite platform for traffic, besides the ones above, is Pinterest.
