I cannot believe I am posting this. Over the next couple of weeks I will be finishing the build out my new website to support my new coaching business. I have been holding back on this chapter for the last 2-3 years. But no more.
The steps I took to get my coaching business off the ground.
1. Sat on the idea for two years.
2. Made a list of services I would offer.
3. Booked a 1-on-1 with a instagram coach.
4. Brainstormed a business name.
5. Created an Instagram account.
6. Bought corresponding domain name.
7. Filled out a form to create a new dba for my existing Llc so that I can deposit my anticipated income into a separate account.
8. Create a Stan store.
9. Order a custom logo on Etsy.
10. Design a logo because I am impatient.
11. Purchase a wordpress template.
12. Assign domain to server.
13. “Create a new WordPress site”, aka install WordPress to domain on server.
14. Download and install new template.
15. Activate new template.
16. Install required plugins.
17. Decide I hate my template so purchase another one and start over.
18. Decide I hate that template so do some research and decide I will do the built out without a template.
19. Spend a week struggling just to make the homepage perfect.
20. Announce my “coming soon” and intentions to the world and friends. Hi. 👋🏻
